La serie Botánicas oceánicas, realizada para la Tienda Oficial 25 años de Puro Diseño, imagina formas vegetales que podrían habitar las profundidades del océano. Inspirada en la expedición científica Underwater Oases of Mar del Plata Canyon: Talud Continental IV, un acontecimiento científico y cultural que abrió una ventana inédita a lo inexplorado, la obra recoge ese asombro ante lo desconocido. A través de tres láminas enmarcadas y en diálogo con el concepto rector de biomímesis, el proyecto no replica la naturaleza sino que traduce sus lógicas vitales en un universo imaginario, llevando la ilustración al espacio expositivo y celebrando la potencia creativa de los ecosistemas ocultos.

The series Oceanic Botanicals, created for the Puro Diseño 25th Anniversary Official Store, imagines vegetal forms that could inhabit the depths of the ocean. Inspired by the scientific expedition Underwater Oases of Mar del Plata Canyon: Talud Continental IV, a scientific and cultural event that opened an unprecedented window onto the unexplored, the work captures that sense of wonder in the face of the unknown. Through three framed prints, and in dialogue with the guiding concept of biomimicry, the project does not replicate nature but translates its vital logics into an imaginary universe, bringing illustration into the exhibition space and celebrating the creative potential of hidden ecosystems.
